Vinyasa Yoga

Members will coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Modifications will be offered by instructors for students at all levels. Focus will typically be a balance between movement, flexibility, and strength.

Sunrise Yoga

Start your day off with Sunrise Yoga. Students will coordinate meditation, movement, and breath to flow from one pose to the next. Modifications will be offered for all levels of students. In this class you will increase flexibility, build strength & stability & incorporate breathe with movement. Beginners are welcome!

Yoga & Pilates Flow

Yoga & Pilates are blended together to stretch & strengthen your body for this full body practice with a special emphasis on your core. All levels of students will benefit and feel challenged by this class.

Candlelight Yoga

Treat yourself to the ultimate yoga experience combining soft music and candlelight to soothe the soul as you slowly glide through various yoga postures. Ease physical, emotional and mental tension moving toward your most peaceful version of self. Heated to 80-85 degrees-if you’re new to heated classes, this is the perfect class to try.

If you are looking to increase flexibility, this is the class for you. We will take things slow so that we can focus on improving your flexibility & mobility. This class features smaller class sizes for more personalized attention.

Slow Flow Yoga

Students will practice breathing techniques to center you and move slowly & mindfully through a slower vinyasa that will leave you feeling refreshed & energized for your week. This is a level 1 yoga class accessible to yogis of all skills sets.

Chakra Yoga

Highlight a different Chakra each week. Cleanse your mind, body, and soul with a healing Chakra practice & sound bath. Each week will focus on a different chakra & practice.

Vin-Yin Yoga

Vinyasa (Vin) yoga is an active yoga practice that links one pose to the next in a flow-like manner, using the breath to move you from pose to pose. Yin yoga is a very restorative style of yoga where the poses are practiced lying down or sitting on the floor.

Bridget Walthers
Yoga Director

Bridget is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200) with Yoga Alliance completing her certification in 2014 and has been teaching in Fargo Moorhead and other community classes since then. She is also in Silver Age Yoga which benefits those who have mobility issues or have a hard time getting up and down off the floor.

Carol is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200) with Yoga Alliance and has a Mat Pilates certification from Free Style Fitness Academy. Her teaching experience includes Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga as well as Mat Pilates. A dedicated yogini, Carol has practiced yoga since 2007 and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training through Devanadi School of Yoga.

Lori Alane
Lucent Yoga Instructor

Lori Alane is a 200-hour RYT. Her yoga journey began in 2015 when she moved to Las Vegas and began practicing Bikram yoga with her brother-in-law. Lori Alane Is currently working on her 300 RYT and has chosen to specialize in restorative and therapeutic yoga. She is also a Reiki master teacher and shaman apprentice.

Kelly first came to yoga for the physical benefits and quickly discovered that her yoga mat was a place to find a sense of contentment, self-awareness and mind-body connection. After seeing the benefits in her own body, mind and life she is excited to share this experience with others. Kelly is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance.

Sid Williams

Sid has been practicing yoga for 9 years and she is a 200 hour RYT. She found her passion early on and has been teaching for 5 or those 9 years. Sid is certified in Yoga, Barre, Sculpt, & Thai Yoga. Her style is muscle based recovery movements to help our body work at it’s natural potential. She can’t wait to meet you in the studio at Lucent.

Ronda has been practicing yoga for about 5 years and is 200hr YTT Certified on-line during the heat of the pandemic when all in person trainings were suspended. I attended a candlelight flow with my daughter in law and fell in love with the vibe and energy of Lucent! Ronda enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren, travel, and of course yoga and meditation.

Christina Sticka-Jacobs

Christina lives in Moorhead with her husband and three children.  She is a registered 500 hour teacher through Yoga Alliance and enjoys sharing yoga’s teachings with others.  She believes yoga is accessible to everyone and loves teaching more than the physical poses, especially pranayama (breath work) and meditation, to experience just how deeply yoga can influence and benefit your life beyond the mat!  She can’t wait to meet you on your yoga journey.

Sayward started yoga as a way to relieve stress caused by digestive disorders, a few months later she was diagnosed with Celiacs disease. By then she was hooked on yoga and wanted to grow her practice. As a mother of a toddler and teenager it has routinely been a way to dedicate time to herself. Sayward is (RYT® 200) certified with Yoga Alliance and looks forward to growing together on the mat.
